Terms of use
SigmaPrep is a product of Bear Infotech Pvt. Ltd., Office 201, Pristine Arcade, Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra, India 411027. These terms apply when you use thesigmaprep.com, create an account or buy an exam pass. By doing any of those, you agree to them.

1. What SigmaPrep is
SigmaPrep sells practice material for the CFA®, FRM® and CMT® exams: full-length mock exams, a question bank, flashcards and the reviews of your results. It is independent study material. SigmaPrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by CFA Institute, the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) or the CMT Association. CFA® is a registered trademark owned by CFA Institute, FRM® is a registered trademark of GARP and CMT® is a registered trademark of the CMT Association.
Practice does not guarantee a result. Your score on a SigmaPrep mock is a guide to your preparation, not a prediction of your exam result, and we make no promise that using SigmaPrep will help you pass.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the practice material. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person. An account can be signed in on one device at a time: signing in on a new device signs the other one out.
A free account includes one sample paper for your exam (every exam except CFA Level III and CMT Level III) and twenty new flashcards a day. We may change what the free account includes.
3. Exam passes and payment
A pass is bought for one exam and one exam sitting. It unlocks what the pass card on the pricing page lists for that exam, and it lasts until the end of the last day of the month after that sitting’s exam month, India time. The pass card shows that date before you pay.
Prices are shown in rupees in India, and in the currency shown at checkout elsewhere. Payments are taken by Razorpay; we never see your card or bank details. Each account can use one discount code, and a pass bought with a code or discount costs what the checkout showed.
4. Refunds
Every pass has a 7-day money-back guarantee: ask within 7 days of paying and we refund the full amount you paid, no questions asked. How refunds work sets out the details. The pass is switched off when the refund is made.
5. Written answers marked by AI
CFA Level III essay answers and CMT Level III written answers are marked by an AI model, against the marking points for each question. These marks are a study aid and can be wrong; they are not an official grade.
6. Fair use
The questions, explanations, flashcards and everything else on SigmaPrep belong to Bear Infotech Pvt. Ltd.. Use them for your own study. Please do not share your account, copy, record, sell or publish the questions or answers, or use software to download or scrape the site. We may suspend or close an account that does.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep SigmaPrep running and correct, but the site may sometimes be unavailable, and a question or explanation may contain a mistake. Tell us and we will fix it. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with SigmaPrep is limited to the amount you paid for the pass concerned, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law.

How we use your information is set out in the privacy policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and a change never takes away a pass you have already paid for. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
